3 outfits for 3 2026 festivals: Primavera Sound, MIAMI and Tomorrowland

There is life after Coachella, and the festival season has just begun!

by Chiara Saibene Falsirollo

Ok, I know it's been a while since Coachella, but I need to get some things off my chest regarding those incredibly uncomfortable mules I just thrifted.

Yes, because it seems clear to me that after years in which this festival seemed to be a thing of the past, this year we all felt a little bit of FOMO... both because we deserved to scream "Baby, baby, oh" at the top of our lungs in front of Justin Bieber, and because, let's face it, we also deserved to show off those "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" looks that you can only wear about once a year.

But let's not despair because the festival season definitely doesn't open and close with the American dream, quite the contrary! Whether you are a MIAMI, Primavera Sound or Tomorrowland kind of girl, there is still all the time in the world to think about outfits worthy of the best big concerts, with pieces that, yes, you can also use on other occasions.

So go ahead with crochet (but not the kind that makes you think of your beloved grandmothers' doilies), romantic sheerness and total black with a slightly rock or slightly trap vibe, who can tell. This triad is the perfect starting point for any self-respecting festival outfit, you can choose just one element or play around trying to mix all three and, stay with me, because now we will figure out how together.

If you are a MIAMI girl, you are probably a chill one: you'll go out in your favorite trousers, a combat boot and maybe a bandana that serves as a passe-partout between afternoon and evening. The advice here is to add elements that have sheerness: whether it's a midi dress worn over biker shorts, a shirt with wide sleeves peeking out under a t-shirt, or a light jacket, the romantic element (even if kept in dark tones) is what will truly give a twist to the look.

If, on the other hand, you are a Primavera Sound person, you will surely fall in love with the idea of crochet! I know, I know, you will tell me it's a predictable choice, but here the key lies in the pieces you choose. A midi skirt paired with a waistcoat, both crochet, with a slightly fun t-shirt underneath, you can't tell me that's boring, come on. But you can always opt for your favorite concert outfit and match it with a crochet shrug for when the temperatures start to drop in the evening. This way you stay covered, but always impeccably so.

To the Tomorrowland girlies, instead, I recommend playing with full sheerness and a total black that screams a bit of woman of mystery. Here is how I imagine you: a very, very long skirt, a slightly aggressive pointed boot and on top a shirt or an organza camisole that lets a cotton or lace bralette or whatever you like glimpse through. This look screams "coolness", don't tell me it doesn't.

In short, if you are still kicking yourselves for missing Coachella, do not despair and run to get ready for a Festival Season that is only just beginning!
